The transaction represents the 4th acquisition by Visma in the Netherlands over the past four months and is in line with the Visma Group’s strategy to continue expanding its activities in this highly strategic region, whilst strengthening its Northern European leadership in the market.
Visma continues to look at opportunities to further increase its presence and product offering in the Netherlands, following on from the other recent acquisitions of ProActive, a provider of full range SaaS-based procurement-to-pay software solutions, Raet, a leading provider of cloud‑based payroll and Human Capital Management (‘HCM’) software and services and Pink Web, supplier of an online customer interaction platform for accounting firms and their clients.
Together, these acquisitions form a comprehensive offering of sustainable products and services that gives value to both new and existing customers.
“Visma’s range of true cloud software and services are leading across Europe. Alongside our other recent acquisitions, we’re delighted to welcome Idella, who contribute significantly to this offering, helping to provide customers in the Netherlands the benefits of modern technology. Idella have been an innovative player in the Dutch market for over thirty years offering a sustainable portfolio of software and services. Their highly skilled workforce has helped to build one of the most trusted partners in the sector, providing significant value to a loyal customers base” Nils Vold, Division Director of Visma, says.
“I am very enthusiastic about joining Visma as it is a perfect opportunity for Idella to keep growing and continue providing our loyal customers with great services. We are enthusiastic about securing the long term continuity of the Idella Finance Suite while at the same time increasing our powerful capacity for innovation. In our opinion the innovative company culture at Idella is a perfect match with Visma which will gain both our employees and customers” Marc Boesmans, CEO Idella Groep, says.
Idella will remain a separate entity within the Visma group as a part of the Enterprise Division. No details around the intended transaction will be disclosed.
